New Medical Design:
Herga’s Medical Design Platform can combine our standard electrical footswitches and puck (bellows) switches with various options and provide an aesthetic appearance within the modular base system that allows for very high flexibility. The entire platform successfully passed the UL-60601 medical product approval which means that every combination the customer chooses is automatically medically approved. The modular design feature allows customers to build their own systems to their specific requirements. This new design is also available in Bluetooth wireless and medical rated. The Bluetooth pedals are offered in Single, Double & Triple, and Multi-pedal options and the Receiver can be embedded into your application or housed in a plug and play dongle. For more information such as integration take a look at the Technical Manual.

Model 6225 (Non-waterproof IPX2) and Model 6226 (Waterproof version IPx7/8) – This single pedal option comes with a variety of options, colors, and cordsets. Ask us about different interfaces, i.e. USB, mono plug, or other connector options. These pedals come standard with IEC 60601-1 ratings. 6241 Medical Approved – This single pedal option comes with basic IPx7 (IPx8 upon request) rating and several color options. Ask us about different interfaces, i.e. USB, mono plug, or other connector options. These pedals come standard with IEC 60601-1 ratings. The following models are stocked at the factory and readily available: 6241-BAAB-BBAZ-Z and 6241-BBAB-BAAZ-Z.
Dual Pedal:
6226-0003 – This twin pedal is our standard stock model, comes with a basic IPx7 rating, and is economically priced for the Medical Market. 6241-0058 – This is our stock 6-pedal footswitch and comes with a basic IPx7 rating, and is economically priced for the Medical Market. This unit can house up to 8 buttons.
Potentiometer Footswitch:
6253 Model – This single pedal option comes with a basic IP67 rating and has a white cover or guard on a black base. This model is designed to meet IEC 60601-1 ratings and comes with a 0 to 5k potentiometer inside and 2m of cable. The standard model (not pictured) is 6253-0044 and the guarded version is 6253-0045.
Heavy Duty Footswitch:
6251 Model – This single pedal option comes with a basic IP67 rating and has a white cover or guard on a black base. This model is designed to meet IEC 60601-1 ratings and comes with slow make and break contacts and momentary action. The standard model (not pictured) is 6251-0053 and the guarded version is 6251-0054.

Foot Bellow Footswitches:
Foot Bellows – RDI has a complete line of foot bellows that will work in a variety of applications. We offer everything from low profile to Heavy duty foot bellows. Foot bellows offer a unique solution as an alternative option to its electronic equivalent in that there are no electronics encapsulated in the foot bellows, and therefore there is nothing to rate and you have no electronics on the floor. Perfect, for hazardous environments, or areas that are subject to lots of liquids.
The Foot bellows mate with an Airswitch, and we have several options to choose from. Whether it’s SPST, SPDT, or DPDT and latching or momentary actions, we have the perfect switch for you. All of our remote airswitches come with UL, CSA, and CE ratings.
